Power at the House...Kinda

After replacing the burnt up wireing from the Meter to the Breaker box we have power from the generator now. We will need to wait until we get city power back to see if we can make that part work too. We are not sure what wire is what because they dont use standard wireing colors here. So when it comes back on we will take a meter and figure out there method to the madness....Later....JB

NO POWER...AGAIN

Woke up this morning freezing my ass off because the power went out at about 1230am. Went down to look into the problem and found some burnt up wires. So I get to take a crew over to the house and fix it so we get some power tonight. The fun never stops here....Later...JB

Hank at 2 Months

He is getting bigger by the day. 2 months old and already about 15 pounds. I sure do miss my whole family back home. More of the same old shit going on here, not sure how much more I want to deal with. Anyway....Later...JB

Whats Going On

Well its been a while sorry but work has been keeping me pretty busy. Yesterday one of the Taliban flunkies walked into a store and blew himself up killing some people. We were locked down so all are ok. It was a store we used to go to but havent for some time. In other news the power is still on and off all the time, the roads still suck and the rosyer is back. I wanna still kill it. Besides that all is well....Later....jb

Back in Kabul

This is my first post of the year and it is post number 180. Not that 180 means anything but don't have much to say. I enjoyed being home so much and want to be there more. Hope it can happen sometime soon. Been playing with my Christmas gift a lot and loving it. The more I use it the more I like it. Archos 101

Had such a long flight back to Kabul this time. In a middle seat for 14 hours is no fun. I think Ill stick to the United flights from Dubai home via DC. At least I can get a good seat with them even if the service id so so.

Well it is supposed to maybe snow tonight and tomorrow so that will make it even more fun here....not. Well like I said I don't have shit to say but will try to think of something for the next post....Later...JB
