This is sad. After hiring a dumb ass to run his company he lost everything. This was about 4 years ago. So now the founder of Independence Media that hired this dumb ass and watched him run it into the ground buys one of the former stations he owned from the company he defaulted. Hope he does it better this time. Some of us told him so but he didn't listen. It also cost some of us our jobs.

A $1.2 million sale closes in Miami, with no change to the “ESPN Deportes” format at WOCN (1450). Seller was Independence Media (IM FL Licenses LLC) and the buyer Deportes Media of Florida, led by David Jacobs. The deal also includes another $200,000 worth of real estate, with the seller holding notes on both the station and the real estate.
